Welcome to Candles For All Ages

Custom Made Candles
We make beeswax and tallow candles with various wicks to satisfy historical accuracy. Please contact us if you are unsure. Traditionally dipped candles are made in pairs so most of our "table" type candles are sold in pairs. However, we can quote for different size candles should you wish,

Festivals and Events
During the year we attend several festivals and fayres, the majority of which are costumed events. Please check out below for a list of these, their location and dates. The list is constantly being updated.

Incense sticks, cones, holders, lavender gifts and more
As well as candles, we sell a range of other great quality gifts. These include a wide selection of incense sticks, cones and holders. We also stock interesting tankards and goblets, handmade lavender gifts and handmade food or drinks covers.
About Candles For All Ages
Candles For All Ages is a small family business which has created handmade beeswax and tallow candles since 1998.
We pride ourselves with making candles to whatever dimensions you require using historical methods. Our materials are 100% natural.
In 2004 we became resident Georgian candle makers on Shrugborough Hall National Trust site. Beeswax and tallow candles were made by us using methods in use in 1805. We remained on the site for 7 years.
Since then we attend historical festivals and fairs to sell our growing range of historical and modern products.
In addition to the general public our customers include Kensington Palace, English Heritage, National Trust, Cutty Sark and many historical institutions.
TV and film companies have also purchased from us. The bulk of sales, however, are the individual customers.
We are happy to consider any commissions.
