Historically Beeswax candles were used by the wealthier members in society. They do not gutter down the side of the candle or smoke if burnt in still air .
These candles are made from 100% beeswax in the traditional way and are made and sold as a pair.
Using the modern wick means the candle burns beautifully with no smoke. The wick generally does not need trimming and the candle will produce a delicate fragrance of honey as it burns.
Please do not place the candles in a draft while they are lit.
